| Proposed ByLaw Changes |
The proposed changes to the ByLaws to be presented to the general membership on July 12 are as follows:
Change Article III, Section 1. Change word "membership" to "board" to read as follows:
Any person of good moral character may become a member of this organization by making proper application thereto, having said application approved by the board of this organization and paying any fees or dues that may be required.
Change Article III, Section 2. Insert word "in" between "obtainable" and "three" to read as follows:
Memberships are obtainable in three (3) classes
Insert Article IV, Section 2.1 as follows:
Members nominated for an officer position must have completed one (1) full year term as a board member for the year immediately preceding term nominated as an officer. This requirement may be waived by majority vote of the board only in the event no qualifying board members are nominated to fill said officer position.
Insert Article IV, Section 5.1 as follows:
Members nominated for any board position, director or officer must have been paid members in good standing for the two (2) consecutive years immediately preceding the term nominated as a board member.
